Your Visit for any Method of Birth Control Includes:
- A full physical, pelvic and breast
exam
- A blood test to check for anemia and a vaginal
smear to check for any infections (if needed)
- A Pap Smear with all lab fees included
Birth Control Pills | Patch | or Ring
Your visit includes a free two month supply
of birth control pills (or a 1 one month supply of birth control patch
or ring) given at the time of the exam with a prescription for the
rest of the year.
The Birth Control Shot
This shot is given once every three months to prevent pregnancy. An annual exam and pap smear is performed every
12 months. You are welcome to visit our office and get
a brochure or call with any questions
The Morning After Pill
The Morning After Pill is about 95% effective in preventing pregnancy
if taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse. A full examination and pregnancy test are
done before the medication is given. The fee also includes
2 free packs of birth control pills to start right away and a prescription
for a full year.
About the IUD
We use the brand of IUD that is good for 10-12
years. The IUD is appropriate for women who have
delivered a child, are in a steady relationship, and have not suffered
any severe pelvic infections.
Our fee includes the required counseling
and completion of the IUD booklet, a full examination, the insertion
of the IUD, a follow-up examination two
months later (or sooner if needed).
